Firstly an extensive consultation will be conducted by Jo talk thorugh your aesthetics goals as well as any relevant medical history. After this consultation a bespoke treatment plan will be made based on your skin issues and desired outcome.

At your appointment, Jo will inject polynucleotides into the areas agreed. Most patients report only mild discomfort during the procedure. The treatment is considered minimally invasive and well-tolerated.

What Does Polynucleotide Aftercare Involve? ๐Ÿซง

After your polynucleotide injections, itโ€™s normal to experience mild swelling or bruising, which usually fades in 1-2 days. Some redness or tiny bumps at the injection sites may appear, but thereโ€™s very little downtime, and most people resume their routine immediately. Hereโ€™s how you can best support your recovery:

๐Ÿ’ซSkip Make-up for 24 Hours
Itโ€™s best to avoid makeup immediately after the treatment. After the first day, you can cover any lingering redness with light makeup if needed.

๐Ÿ’ซ Hydrate and Avoid Intense Activity
Drink plenty of water to support skin hydration and healing. Also, avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours to keep sweat and bacteria away from the injection sites.

๐Ÿ’ซUse Gentle Skincare
Keep your skincare routine simple for a couple of days after the treatment. Stay away from active ingredients like acids, AHAs, and retinoids, which could irritate the skin.

I hope this week has been informative for you and that any questions you may have had, has been answered. Please do let me know if yiu have any further questions or if you’d like to book in with Jo for a consultation!

We’re excited to start your aesthetics journey with you ๐Ÿฉท
