Treating Common Skin Blemishes Safely and Discreetly
As skin changes with age, it’s common for new blemishes to appear — often gradually, and often in areas that affect confidence.
These can include skin tags, age spots, milia, broken capillaries and other benign skin concerns. While many are harmless, they can still feel frustrating or distressing.
Advanced electrolysis allows selected benign skin blemishes to be treated safely, precisely and with minimal disruption.
Understanding Advanced Electrolysis
Advanced electrolysis is a specialised technique used to treat a range of benign skin blemishes by applying controlled heat to the affected area.
It is suitable for many common concerns and is carried out with careful assessment, precision and hygiene.
Treatments are only offered where appropriate. If a blemish is unsuitable or requires medical assessment, we will advise you accordingly.
Common Concerns We Treat
Advanced electrolysis may be suitable for:
- skin tags
- age spots
- milia
- blood spots
- thread veins / broken capillaries
- seborrhoeic keratosis
- sebaceous hyperplasia
- syringoma
- spider naevus
- xanthoma (including xanthelasma)
- verrucae and warts
- selected benign moles (reduction only, where appropriate)
All concerns are assessed carefully before treatment.
Our Approach
Careful Assessment and Clear Boundaries
Your safety always comes first.
Before any blemish is treated, we will:
- assess suitability
- explain what can realistically be achieved
- discuss healing and aftercare
- advise if further checks or referrals are needed
We are clear about when treatment is appropriate — and when it isn’t.
Treatment and Recovery
Treatment is usually brief and targeted.
After treatment, the skin may appear red or slightly sensitive. Healing varies depending on the type of blemish treated, and some concerns may require more than one session.
We’ll explain:
- what to expect immediately after treatment
- how healing typically progresses
- how to care for the area properly
- when to get in touch if you have questions
Further guidance is available on our Healing & Aftercare page.
Pricing
Pricing depends on the type, size and number of blemishes being treated.
As a guide:
Small numbers of blemishes are typically £85
Larger numbers or more complex concerns are typically £135
Some blemishes may require more than one treatment session.
Full details are available on our Pricing page, with exact costs confirmed following assessment.
Medical Assessment
& Referrals
We do not treat suspicious or undiagnosed lesions.
If a blemish requires medical review, we will advise you to seek appropriate assessment before any treatment is considered. This may include referral to a GP or use of a mole screening service.
Considering Treatment
If you’re unsure whether a blemish can be treated, a consultation is the best place to start.
This allows us to assess suitability, explain options clearly and answer any questions. Consultations are available in person or by video.
