Looking after your skin as it changes
As we age, our skin changes. New moles, marks and lesions can appear gradually over time, particularly during and after menopause.
Most changes are harmless — but knowing when to check something properly can bring reassurance and clarity.
Skin health and mole screening is about awareness, monitoring and sensible next steps.
What Mole Screening is
Mole screening is a digital skin assessment designed to identify moles or lesions that may need further medical review.
High-quality images are taken and assessed by specialist clinicians.
The aim is to highlight whether a mole appears:
- low risk
- requiring monitoring
- or in need of further investigation
This service does not diagnose skin cancer and does not replace assessment by a GP or dermatologist.
Our Approach to Skin Health
Our approach to skin health is calm, responsible and clear.
We take care to:
- explain what screening can and cannot tell you
- avoid unnecessary alarm
- advise clearly if medical review is recommended
- support you with appropriate next steps
If something needs medical assessment, we will always advise referral to your GP or specialist.

When Women Choose Screening
Women often choose skin health screening when:
- a new mole or mark has appeared
- an existing mole has changed
- they want reassurance about a specific area
- they are becoming more proactive about long-term skin health
What To Expect
During a skin health appointment:
- images are taken of the area of concern
- images are submitted securely for specialist review
- a written report is provided once results are available
We’ll explain the process clearly beforehand so you know what to expect.
Results & Next steps
Your report will indicate whether:
- no action is required
- monitoring is advised
- further medical assessment is recommended
If referral is advised, we’ll explain what that means and what to do next.
Pricing (guide)
Skin health and mole screening is priced per assessment. Full pricing details are available on our Pricing page.
IMPORTANT NOTE
We do not diagnose or treat suspicious lesions. If screening highlights a concern, medical assessment through your GP or dermatologist is essential before any further action is taken.
What next?
If you’re unsure whether screening is appropriate, a consultation can help you decide.
Consultations are available in person or by video.
