At Luisa Krayem Permanent Makeup, much of our work sits quietly behind closed doors. But some of it deserves to be shared — to raise awareness, offer reassurance, and help others feel less alone in their journey.
A large part of what we do goes beyond aesthetics.
We support clients through hair loss, medical changes, and recovery after illness or surgery. For many, this is about rebuilding confidence at a time when they need it most.
Luisa is particularly passionate about increasing awareness of medical tattooing, including areola restoration following breast surgery. We also offer a free Friday clinic for areola tattooing, providing access to treatment for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. This is offered quietly, respectfully, and without judgement.
Some of our work has highlighted wider issues.
Content relating to areola tattooing is often incorrectly flagged or restricted on social media platforms, despite being medical and restorative in nature. This can make it harder for patients to discover treatments that could genuinely help them.
We continue to speak openly about this, with the aim of improving awareness and access for those who need it.
We are proud to support Breast Cancer Now as our charity of the year.
Through fundraising, awareness campaigns, and ongoing support within the clinic, we aim to give back to a cause that is closely connected to the work we do every day.
Luisa is also an ambassador for SKCIN (The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity), helping to raise awareness around early detection and skin health, alongside our in-clinic mole screening service.
We believe clients deserve the highest level of care, which is why we continue to invest in both clinical training and collaborative working.
Our team are MASCED trained in identifying suspicious skin lesions, and we work alongside a nurse prescriber for advanced aesthetic treatments.
We also welcome collaboration with medical professionals, including surgeons and oncology teams, to support patients at different stages of their journey.
Luisa Krayem Permanent Makeup has been featured across local press and radio, helping to raise awareness of permanent makeup and medical tattooing within the Cotswolds and beyond.
Further features and collaborations are ongoing.
If you are a journalist, organisation, or medical professional and would like to collaborate, feature our work, or discuss awareness initiatives, we would be very happy to hear from you.
