Back to Tintern
5 years ago, the UK went into lockdown and the beauty industry was closed for many months.
Some of you may remember that when it was announced that wales could reopen salons and the UK could not, I found a podiatry clinic in the pretty town of Tintern (just over the Welsh border) that was willing to rent me a room. After pleading with the local council to skip the usual 6-8 week licensing list, I got my licence granted the same day. Within 24 hours of the announcement that wales salons could reopen, I was in my temporary clinic and I was fully booked with my clients kindly making the journey to wales for their permanent makeup appointments
Back in 2020 I said I would have to come back one day and properly look round such a beautiful place. And finally, on Sunday, I drove back to Tintern with my good friend Lisa, to walk the Angidy valley trail and enjoy the sunshine
