Is thinning hair getting you down?

Losing female hair density still seems to be something isn’t spoken about much. But it happens to a lot of us and it can really affect our confidence and self esteem – I know, because it happened to me!

There are many reasons why hair can become finer and thinner – alopecia, traction damage from hair styling, illness and medication, hereditary traits, thyroid disorder, menopause etc.

The emotional impact of hair loss can cause a lot of distress and also inconvenience, with a lot of time spent adding coloured fibres and sprays to disguise problem areas, and styling hair to conceal thinness and constantly checking scalp coverage throughout the day.

I can create the illusion of fuller hair using scalp micropigmentation. I deposit tiny pixels of organic carbon pigment inbetween your existing hair follicles, which gives the appearance of more density and ‘less scalp’.

This lady was my model for my demonstration of scalp work at our recent open evening – a fabulous example of the difference that this procedure can make.
