Recently, I had the pleasure of welcoming Verity, owner of the fabulous Beautylicious salon in Bourton-on-the-Water, into the clinic for a brow refresh. As a fellow salon owner, Verity understands the importance of expertise, trust and taking the time to do things properly – values we both share.
Working With Previous Brow Tattooing
Previous brow work does not mean you are “stuck” with what you have. However, it does require a careful, considered approach.
Before starting any treatment, I carried out a detailed consultation and mapped out a completely new brow design, taking into account:
- Existing pigment and how it had healed
- Verity’s natural brow shape and facial structure
- Balance, symmetry and softness
- How the brows would age over time
By working with the existing work rather than against it, we were able to create a result that feels refined, natural and beautifully suited to her features.
This type of brow correction or refresh is never rushed. It is about expertise, honesty and choosing what is right for the client, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
