But what if?

What if I hate it?

What if it looks terrible?

What if it goes wrong?

Would you be surprised if I told you that there was a time that the thought of having permanent makeup petrified me?

My mum, auntie’s and nearly all my cousins came to Luisa for their permanent makeup and yet the idea of doing it myself was just too much! I used to see them walking around with brows that I would have loved to have and yet I used to think that I was going to be the one that it went ‘wrong’ with.. that I’d leave with two black slugs on my forehead that I’d be stuck with forever and I’d have to have a fringe cut to hide my new friends. Not only was I scared of the finished look I was also scared of the pain! I’ve had tattoes and I can saftely say that I am a proper wimp and what if Luisa only managed one brow and I had to stop because I couldn’t take the pain? Then I’d just be left with one slug?

My mum even offered to pay for me as a Christmas present but even that wasn’t enough to make me change my mind!

Fast forward to 2017, Grace was 6 months old and my accountancy job that I’d been in for the last 10 years was being relocated to London, so we were made redundant.

I was looking for a job that would fit around Grace and childcare so when I saw that Luisa was advertising for a PA I messaged her straight away and she asked me to come for an interview the next week!

But then it dawned on me that I was going for an interview with the worst brows in Wiltshire and with a phobia of permanet makeup… but boy am I glad I did!

I got the job (even with my thin drawn in eyebrows) and I had a date in the diary for my brow appointment!

My date in the diary wasn’t for another two months so in that time I got to witness lots of clients coming in and leaving with great brows which helped my nerves a lot! But new clients who book in with us don’t really get that chance… which is why we try and do all we can to help clients feel confident and reassured before making an appointment with us.

We offer all new clients a free consultation appointment (either in the clinic, video call or over the phone) so that you have the time to discuss any anxieties you have about the treatment and for us to give you a full breakdown of what to expect at your appointment and full aftercare.

Making the decision to book in for permanent make up is huge and you have every right to feel nervous but please be reassured that you can get all the information you need and all your questions answered before making that decision.

I love it when I have consultations booked in the diary as i see clients walk in with the same fears as I did but leave calmer and confident in their decision!

If you’d like to come in for a consultation with us or would prefer a chat over the phone, then please do get in touch if it feels like the right time for you.

Love Sam xx
